Our company serves a diverse range of consumer and business customers across multiple industries, establishing long-lasting partnerships built on trust and excellence. We pride ourselves on our legacy of outstanding service and continuously strive to meet the evolving needs of our clients while promoting sustainability and safety in every aspect of our operations.
The Mosquito Spray Truck Driver role at Rentokil is an essential position within our mosquito management program. The primary responsibility of this role is to safely and effectively operate a mosquito control spray truck to prevent the spread of mosquito-borne diseases. This position plays a crucial part in public health by conducting mosquito surveillance, performing preventative services, and carrying out large-scale spraying missions. The successful candidate will work under the guidance of a contract supervisor to thoroughly cover assigned zones, ensuring strict adherence to safety protocols and chemical handling procedures. This role demands a high level of attention to detail, safety consciousness, and the ability to work independently, often in outdoor environments with varying conditions.
Candidates in this role will be trained to use GPS monitoring equipment for accurate tracking of spray missions and maintaining detailed records of all operations. Familiarity with chemical labels and Safety Data Sheets (SDS) is a vital part of the job to guarantee the correct and safe application of pesticides in accordance with regulatory guidelines. Additionally, the Mosquito Spray Truck Driver must demonstrate strong communication skills, both verbal and written, to effectively report data and cooperate with the team. Physical requirements include the ability to lift and handle equipment and chemical containers weighing up to 50 pounds, and a commitment to maintaining clean and well-functioning vehicles and gear.
Rentokil embraces a safety-first culture, where all employees are expected to support and promote company safety policies. Working in this role involves exposure to various environmental elements such as weather changes, uneven terrains, insects, and other wildlife, requiring resilience and adaptability. This is an opportunity for individuals eager to contribute to public health efforts while developing their skills in a supportive and well-established company environment.
Rentokil offers competitive pay, comprehensive benefits, and a clear path to career growth. Our commitment to professional and personal development includes multiple training programs, tuition reimbursement for full-time colleagues, and a supportive work culture.
