The Kids Team Member-Parties role at Life Time is a vital position centered around enhancing the experience of children’s birthday parties and special events hosted at the club. This role is designed for energetic and creative individuals who are passionate about engaging children in fun, safe, and memorable activities. The team member acts as the facilitator and supervisor of party games and group activities, ensuring a lively and enthusiastic environment that encourages children’s participation and enjoyment. Responsibilities extend beyond just organizing games; the Kids Team Member helps cultivate a warm and professional ambiance through friendly greetings, direct communication, and attentive supervision.
In this role, the individual will be responsible for explaining and demonstrating activities, maintaining safety standards throughout events, and promptly addressing any questions or concerns from guests. The position requires stamina and the ability to remain engaged while overseeing children for extended periods of time. Essential certifications such as First Aid and CPR/AED for infants, children, and adults must be obtained early in employment to comply with safety protocols. Job Requirements
- High school diploma or equivalent
- Ability to work in a stationary position and move about the club for prolonged periods of time
- Ability to communicate and exchange information with guests who have inquiries about Life Time products and services
- Ability to routinely and repetitively bend to lift more than 20 lbs
- First aid certification required within the first 60 days of hire
- Infant/child and adult CPR/AED certification required within the first 60 days of hire
- Completion of all state or federal requirements prior to first day of work
Job Qualifications
- High school diploma or equivalent
- Experience working with children preferred
- Strong interpersonal and communication skills
- Ability to engage children in group activities
- Certification in first aid and CPR/AED within 60 days of hire
- Ability to work in a team-oriented environment

Job Duties
- Greets, acknowledges and interacts with members and their guests in a friendly and professional manner
- Facilitates and supervises organized activities and ensures children are active, interested and safe throughout the party
- Explains and demonstrates games and activities to party participants
- Responds to any questions, complaints, or conflict in a timely manner
