As part of our dedication to exceptional visitor experiences, we are currently seeking part-time Seasonal Housepersons to join our Housekeeping team from April 15 through October 12. This role is essential in maintaining the cleanliness and upkeep of both overnight accommodations and public spaces at Chautauqua, ensuring all guests enjoy a comfortable, inviting, and seamless visit. The Seasonal Houseperson will work closely with the housekeeping team to carry out various tasks ranging from guest services to facility maintenance. The position demands a great attention to detail and a proactive approach to meeting the fast-paced demands characteristic of our busy season. Shifts are scheduled from 8:00 am to 4:30 pm and include a rotation of weekdays and weekends, providing flexibility and variety in the workweek.

The ideal candidate will have prior experience in hotel housekeeping, possess excellent customer service skills, and demonstrate the capability to thrive in a dynamic environment. Being punctual, reliable, and team-oriented are crucial traits, as the role involves collaboration with diverse groups and delivering consistently high standards of cleanliness and guest satisfaction. Additionally, a valid driver’s license is required for this position to facilitate efficient movement between various property sites if needed.
