This ethos ensures that the company’s people truly are their greatest asset and that the service philosophy is consistently upheld throughout their operations.
Hotel Indigo, a proud part of Columbia Hospitality's portfolio, offers 142 elegantly appointed rooms, more than 8,000 square feet of versatile event space, and the Jetty Bar & Grille where guests can enjoy a seafood menu inspired by the Pacific Northwest. Situated at the Port of Everett’s Waterfront Place redevelopment, Hotel Indigo is surrounded by parks, housing, docks, restaurants, and other local attractions, making it a vibrant and dynamic place for both guests and employees. The hotel features amenities such as an indoor swimming pool and caters to a diverse clientele seeking both comfort and stylish hospitality.
The Seasonal Host position at Hotel Indigo is a vital front-of-house role responsible for creating a welcoming and positive introduction for guests dining at the establishment. The Host’s primary responsibilities include warmly greeting guests, managing waitlists, providing accurate wait times, seating guests efficiently, and maintaining the flow of service to ensure guest satisfaction. Hosts also support the restaurant team with menu organization and help coordinate seating to optimize service efficiency.
This role is offered with an hourly pay rate of $20.77 and is eligible for tip pooling, allowing individuals to maximize their earning potential. Additionally, team members are eligible for daily pay, making it possible to get paid every day they work. Employees enjoy a range of benefits including paid time off, holiday pay, medical, dental, vision, disability insurance, and 401K plans with employer contributions. Health Savings Accounts and Flexible Spending Accounts are also available, supporting employees’ financial wellness. At Columbia Hospitality, the workplace culture is a core aspect of employment with programs supporting diversity, referral bonuses for recruiting, discounts on lodging, dining, spa, golf, and retail offerings, and various volunteer and committee participation opportunities. The company also offers access to an employee assistance program and an online learning platform focused on career growth.

Even candidates who do not meet every qualification are encouraged to apply, as the company believes in the potential for growth and finding the right fit through passion and dedication.
In summary, the Seasonal Host position at Hotel Indigo offers a rewarding hospitality experience within a reputable and values-oriented company. Candidates will benefit from competitive pay, comprehensive benefits, a supportive team environment, and the chance to be part of a vibrant hotel located in the heart of Everett’s waterfront community, while developing skills in guest relations and restaurant operations during a busy summer season.
