The Seasonal Host position at HHM Hotels is designed for individuals passionate about guest service and eager to contribute to the dining experience in a dynamic hotel restaurant setting. Your responsibilities will include managing the flow of guests efficiently to ensure timely seating and an enjoyable experience, coordinating communication across shifts through logbook entries, assisting with the setup and upkeep of the dining room, supporting service staff as needed, and managing reservation records and special function arrangements. Safety is paramount in this role; therefore, you will adhere strictly to workplace safety protocols, including the use of personal protective equipment and following OSHA and MSDS standards. The work environment involves standing for long periods, walking, and occasionally lifting up to 30 pounds, which requires physical stamina and attentiveness.

Job Duties
- Meet and greet guests as they arrive
- offer choice of seating
- escort guests to dining tables and present menus
- read, maintain and make daily entries in the log book to coordinate communication between shifts and management
- maintain proper set-up of the dining room
- assist as needed or requested with service
- receive records and make necessary arrangements for reservations and special functions in the restaurant
- practice safe work habits and wear protective safety equipment
- follow MSDS and OSHA standards
- perform other duties as requested by management
