The Seasonal Host position at HHM Hotels is designed for individuals passionate about guest service and eager to contribute to the dining experience in a dynamic hotel restaurant setting. This role offers a fantastic entry point into the hospitality industry, with clear pathways for career growth including advancement to Food Server, Guest Service Agent, Restaurant Supervisor, or Front Office Supervisor roles. As a Seasonal Host, you will be the first impression guests have when they arrive at the restaurant, responsible for warmly greeting and escorting them to their tables in accordance with the company’s guest service and sustainability standards. The position requires excellent communication skills, the ability to multitask, and a genuine dedication to providing an exceptional dining environment.

Your responsibilities will include managing the flow of guests efficiently to ensure timely seating and an enjoyable experience, coordinating communication across shifts through logbook entries, assisting with the setup and upkeep of the dining room, supporting service staff as needed, and managing reservation records and special function arrangements. Safety is paramount in this role; therefore, you will adhere strictly to workplace safety protocols, including the use of personal protective equipment and following OSHA and MSDS standards. The work environment involves standing for long periods, walking, and occasionally lifting up to 30 pounds, which requires physical stamina and attentiveness.
