Job Requirements

  • High school diploma or equivalent
  • Previous hospitality or customer service experience preferred
  • Familiarity with reservation systems and phone etiquette
  • Ability to stand and walk for extended periods
  • Ability to lift and carry menus and seating materials
  • Excellent communication skills
  • Ability to multitask in a fast-paced environment

Job Duties

  • Greet guests with a friendly and professional demeanor upon arrival
  • Provide guests with information about the menu, specials, and wait times
  • Manage restaurant reservations through phone, email, or reservation system ensuring accuracy
  • Maintain and update waitlists, notifying guests promptly when their table is ready
  • Coordinate with front-of-house and kitchen teams to ensure smooth guest seating and service
  • Handle guest complaints or issues professionally and escalate to management if necessary
  • Assist in training new hosts and support the team during busy periods
