As a respected name in the wine industry, Hess Persson Estates is committed to excellence, quality, and hospitality, creating a welcoming environment that reflects the essence of the region's wine culture. The company prides itself on its passionate team, innovative spirit, and dedication to sustainability and craftsmanship in every bottle produced.
The role of Seasonal Hospitality Concierge at Hess Persson Estates offers a unique opportunity for individuals who are enthusiastic about hospitality and passionate about creating unforgettable guest experiences. This temporary position is designed for someone who excels in delivering high-touch, personalized service that begins even before a guest arrives. The concierge is the first voice and warmest welcome for guests, managing inquiries through multiple channels such as phone, email, and in-person interactions. This role is vital in setting the tone for a guest’s visit by handling reservations, promoting exclusive tastings and tours, and upgrading VIP experiences to make each visit unique and special.
Working as a Seasonal Hospitality Concierge involves multitasking across several areas including customer service, wine club support, visitor center duties, and event support, enabling a dynamic and engaging work environment. The concierge uses specialized software like Tock for reservation management and Commerce7 POS for sales transactions. Additionally, this role requires maintaining a detailed and well-organized reservations calendar, assisting wine club members with account updates, and supporting the visitor center hosts in delivering exceptional wine tasting experiences.
The ideal candidate has a confident and professional communication style, a warm and outgoing personality, and a proactive attitude that embraces challenges with a 'yes, and...' approach. Organizational skills and the ability to multitask calmly and efficiently are essential to handling the demands of this fast-paced role. This position also occasionally involves physical duties such as standing for extended periods, lifting wine cases, and assisting with event set-up, making physical stamina and flexibility important.
Compensation for this role ranges from $19 to $21 per hour, reflecting the value Hess Persson Estates places on skilled and dedicated hospitality professionals. The company is proud to be an equal opportunity employer, fostering an inclusive workplace where all qualified individuals are welcomed and supported. Applicants with a passion for people, a love of wine, and a commitment to exceptional guest service will find this position rewarding and fulfilling.
Overall, joining Hess Persson Estates as a Seasonal Hospitality Concierge means becoming part of a passionate team that celebrates wine culture while delivering world-class guest experiences. This role is perfect for candidates seeking a seasonal position in a prestigious winery setting, offering opportunities to develop skills in customer service, event support, and hospitality within the unique context of the wine industry.
