Job Description
The Billy Graham Evangelistic Association (BGEA) is a renowned Christian organization that has been proclaiming the Gospel for over 70 years through various ministries worldwide. Founded on the principles established by the late Billy Graham, the organization aims to support and extend the evangelistic calling and ministry of Franklin Graham, sharing the message of Jesus Christ to people across the globe by every effective means possible. BGEA operates from multiple locations including its headquarters and prominent ministries in Charlotte, North Carolina, and Asheville, North Carolina, as well as through field offices abroad. Employees at BGEA are united in their Christian faith and committed to furthering the organization's religious mission through their work, embodying the values and dedication required to reach people to the ends of the earth with the Gospel.
This particular job opening is with the Food Services department, which plays a vital role in supporting the daily operations and special events hosted by BGEA. The Food Services team is responsible for providing high-quality meals to staff and guests, maintaining excellent stewardship on behalf of donors while fostering a welcoming and Christ-centered environment. This position is seasonal and supports the Christmas at the Library program, adding a unique opportunity for individuals who desire to serve in ministry during the holiday season. The role involves assisting guests during Christmas-themed dining experiences with options including a traditional buffet-style Christmas dinner in a beautifully appointed dining space, as well as dining at the Graham Brother's Dairy Bar within the Billy Graham Library itself.
As a Seasonal Guest Experience Dining Host Associate, you will be instrumental in creating a warm, hospitable environment where guests can celebrate the birth of Christ with family and friends. Your duties will include fulfilling guest orders, seating guests, preparing and sanitizing dining areas, replenishing buffet items, and other related tasks. The position requires evening and weekend shifts and lasts for a three-week period, though employment opportunity is available before the program begins in December. This role offers a chance to blend hospitality and ministry, ensuring that every guest’s experience reflects the love of Jesus. Employees in this position are expected to live out the Christian purpose and mission of BGEA by participating in daily devotions, praying for the ministry, and demonstrating behavior consistent with the organization’s Statement of Faith and Hallmarks. This is an excellent opportunity for individuals who are passionate about serving others while advancing the Gospel through their workplace ministry involvement.
