Seasonal, full-time employment opportunities are available, offering an hourly wage of $20.00. Benefits are provided to associates working 30 or more hours per week, including medical, dental, vision coverage, and more. However, temporary and/or seasonal associates are ineligible for paid time off. The role of a Housekeeper is integral to maintaining the high standards of resort quality and guest satisfaction that Travel + Leisure Co. is known for. A Housekeeper contributes directly to the overall guest experience by ensuring resort units are impeccably cleaned and maintained. This includes responsibility for cleaning sleeping quarters, kitchens, bathrooms, and living rooms, adhering strictly to housekeeping detail standards. The role requires proficiency in cleaning, vacuuming, dusting, sanitizing, and making beds, as well as replenishing supplies such as kitchenware and toiletries. Housekeepers also manage linens by sorting, counting, folding, marking, and carrying them as needed.
Additionally, the Housekeeper plays a key role in maintaining positive customer and associate relationships by responding appropriately to guest inquiries and concerns. Effective communication and a customer-first attitude are essential, as the Housekeeper ensures total guest satisfaction and handles guest issues promptly and professionally to improve the overall guest experience. This position demands the ability to work efficiently in a fast-paced environment, independently and as part of a team, with a positive, can-do attitude and a professional appearance.
The role requires physical stamina, including the ability to lift up to 50 pounds, and a dedication to maintaining the resort’s cleanliness and ambiance. As a front-line representative, the Housekeeper contributes to creating memorable stays for guests, reflecting the company’s commitment to hospitality excellence. Job Requirements
- high school diploma or equivalent
- previous housekeeping or cleaning experience preferred
- ability to communicate effectively in English
- ability to work flexible hours including weekends and holidays
- physical ability to perform cleaning tasks and lift up to 50 pounds
