Job Requirements
- High school diploma or equivalent
- prior experience in hospitality or event coordination preferred
- ability to handle multiple tasks simultaneously
- strong communication and interpersonal skills
- capable of working flexible hours including nights and weekends
- ability to lift and move event equipment as necessary
- basic computer proficiency
Job Qualifications
- Obtain a Food Handlers permit
- obtain a TABC Certification
- be prompt and dependable
- have a positive, committed, trustworthy, and responsible attitude
- possess a heart for hospitality
- have experience working in a fast-paced, high-energy restaurant or bar environment
Job Duties
- Print Banquet Event Orders and kitchen sheets weekly
- attend weekly BEO meetings to review upcoming events
- coordinate with operations for AV equipment testing and signage needs
- address dietary restrictions and create necessary signage
- develop and maintain buffet signage
- ensure all buffets are labeled
- collect and clean signage
- assess and prepare event equipment
- track event inventory
- set up buffets according to standards
- conduct nightly walk-throughs to reset event spaces
- clean and organize event equipment and signage
- assist with event preparation and inventory management
- liaise with Manager on Duty to confirm staff allocations
- coordinate with front of house staff for event area designation
- ensure event coordinator presence for each event
- monitor event calendar daily
- email managers about upcoming events
- monitor replenishments during events
- serve as point of contact for event hosts
- manage buffet takedown and restore event spaces
- update inventory needs and inform about supply orders
