The role of Seasonal Events & Execution Assistant at Kings Dominion is a dynamic and rewarding position that plays a critical part in managing and delivering exceptional group sales and sponsorship events. This part-time, seasonal role involves coordinating all aspects of event planning and execution, acting as the essential liaison between clients, sales teams, and various park departments. Reporting directly to the Activation Manager, the Seasonal Events & Execution Assistant ensures seamless event operations and outstanding client experiences that reflect the quality and excitement synonymous with Kings Dominion. The job offers a competitive hourly wage of $16.00, befitting the level of responsibility and contribution expected from the candidate.

In this role, you will be entrusted with the coordination and execution of corporate outings, youth programs, and other group events, ensuring that all logistics from event orders and catering to billing and data management are handled meticulously. You will also support onsite sponsorship activations, making certain that all in-park branding aligns with national and regional sponsorship agreements. Strong communication skills will be vital as you serve as the primary contact point among clients, vendors, and internal teams, facilitating effective collaboration and problem-solving to provide top-tier event experiences. Proficiency in the Microsoft Office Suite and knowledge of Salesforce CRM are valuable tools that will assist you in executing your duties effectively.

Job Duties

  • Collaborate with the Activation Manager to manage client, sales, and park communications for Group Sales events
  • Lead day-of event execution for corporate outings, youth programs, and other group events, managing support teams and addressing client needs
  • Ensure accurate event orders, catering arrangements, billing, and data entry in collaboration with sales support staff
  • Support onsite sponsorship activations, ensuring in-park visibility aligns with national and regional agreements, and provide event documentation for recaps
  • Serve as the central communication hub between clients, vendors, and internal teams to deliver top-tier experiences
