Job Description

Molly Moon's Homemade Ice Cream is a beloved and well-established ice cream company that has become a multi-generational gathering place, centered around happiness and sustainability. Known for its commitment to making the world a better place, Molly Moon's mission is to deliver joy one scoop at a time. Each of their shops embodies this mission, creating a welcoming environment where local communities can come together to enjoy high-quality, locally sourced ice cream. The company places strong emphasis on sustainability, community partnerships, and the use of the finest ingredients, which are carefully selected and incorporated into every batch of their ice cream. From the kitchen to the cone, the experience at Molly Moon's is the result of dedicated culinary and hospitality teams working together to provide an outstanding product and customer service.

The role of Seasonal Delivery Driver at Molly Moon's is an integral position that supports the smooth operation of the company's stores and wholesale accounts primarily during the spring and summer seasons. This hourly position offers 20-30 hours per week, starting at $25.00 per hour. As a delivery driver, you will be responsible for the safe and efficient transportation of ice cream, ingredients, non-culinary goods, and supplies across multiple Molly Moon's locations and wholesale partners throughout the greater Seattle area. This role requires an ultra-safe driving attitude with sharp attention to the rules of the road, as well as detailed-oriented tracking of all incoming and outgoing goods through inventory management software. The delivery team acts as the backbone of logistical operations, ensuring that everything needed by the culinary teams and scoop shops is delivered accurately and on time.

In addition to driving duties, the delivery specialist will provide support to the scoop shop teams, vendors, and wholesale accounts by managing inventory transfers, communicating inventory issues, and maintaining delivery vehicles in a clean and safe condition. The position requires excellent communication skills and a commitment to health, safety, and sanitation guidelines. Candidates are expected to embody Molly Moon's core values of being smart, generous, joyful, homemade, and brave, thriving within an inclusive and diverse workplace environment. The dynamic nature of the job includes running company errands, fulfilling online store orders, assisting in monthly inventory checks, and representing the company positively in interactions with outside vendors and customers. The shift schedule typically spans from 6 am to 6 pm, with weekend availability generally required, ensuring a flexible but consistent work routine during the peak ice cream season.

Molly Moon's offers the opportunity for wage growth through annual cost of living increases and merit-based performance bonuses. This role also provides an array of comprehensive benefits including zero premium medical, dental, and vision insurance eligibility for employees working 20 or more hours per week, paid sick and safe time, vacation PTO, supplemental paid family leave, a company-sponsored 401k with employer matching, subsidized public transportation passes, childcare subsidies, and more. This exposure makes the Seasonal Delivery Driver position not only a vital logistical role but also a rewarding chance to be part of a company that values its employees and community. Candidates must also hold a Washington state food handler's permit, ensuring all deliveries maintain high standards of food safety.

Overall, the Seasonal Delivery Driver at Molly Moon's Homemade Ice Cream is a rewarding and essential seasonal role that combines driving, inventory management, customer service, and teamwork within a vibrant, community-focused, and sustainability-driven company.
