Currently, HoneyBaked Ham Company LLC is seeking to expand their team with a Seasonal Delivery Driver to support their operational needs during the bustling holiday season. This role is specifically designed for individuals looking for a flexible, seasonal side gig that can be adjusted to complement school, family, or other personal commitments. The Seasonal Delivery Driver is a crucial frontline member tasked with transporting HoneyBaked's celebrated products securely and efficiently from the central hub store to various Pop-Up Retail locations. The position calls for a hands-on individual who can manage logistics effectively, ensuring that product safety and quality standards are rigorously maintained throughout the delivery process.

In this role, the driver will be responsible for conducting thorough truck assessments at the beginning of each delivery day, securing products properly within refrigerated trucks ranging in size from 14 to 26 feet, and maintaining detailed records including delivery manifest checklists and temperature logs to comply with food safety regulations. Candidates do not require a Commercial Driver's License (CDL), which lowers the barrier to entry for qualified applicants. Nonetheless, the role does require a valid driver’s license, a current Department of Transportation (DOT) medical card, passing pre-employment screenings including DOT drug tests, motor vehicle records (MVR), and background checks. Practical knowledge of DOT requirements is necessary to ensure compliance with transportation safety mandates.
