The Seasonal Common Area Attendant position at Club Wyndham Oceanside Pier Resort, located at 333 N Myers St, Townsite, Oceanside, California, is a full-time seasonal housekeeping role that plays a vital part in maintaining the resort’s standards of cleanliness and guest satisfaction. This role involves ensuring that all common areas within the resort are clean, welcoming, and well-maintained to provide guests a comfortable and enjoyable experience. The attendant will handle routine housekeeping tasks such as dusting, polishing, sweeping, mopping, vacuuming, and restocking supplies across various resort spaces. A keen eye for detail and a proactive approach to maintaining appearance and hygiene are essential for success in this role.

As part of the housekeeping team, the Seasonal Common Area Attendant contributes directly to the overall guest experience by ensuring the environment is impeccable and inviting, whether indoors or in outdoor amenity spaces. This role requires working efficiently both independently and collaboratively, always with a positive, can-do attitude and professional appearance. Attendants are expected to engage positively with guests, owners, and fellow associates, responding quickly and courteously to inquiries or concerns.

Job Duties

  • Perform housekeeping through the resort ensuring constant, consistent cleanliness
  • Maintain resort interiors by dusting and polishing furniture, counters, mirrors, and fixtures
  • Sweep, scrub and mop floors, clean and vacuum carpets, and re-supply restrooms and locker rooms with necessary paper products
  • Remove trash, pick up debris, empty containers, and transport materials to disposal and recycling areas
  • Observe precautions to protect hotel and guest property and report damage, theft, and found items to supervisors
  • Maintain positive guest, owner, and associate relationships by responding appropriately to guest inquiries and concerns
  • Work independently or with others to achieve cleanliness and guest satisfaction
