Established with a commitment to improving residential spaces, Lowe's has built a reputation for reliability, innovation, and customer satisfaction across its numerous stores nationwide. As a company passionate about home improvement, Lowe's embraces values centered on helpfulness, teamwork, and community engagement, offering a dynamic work environment with a focus on career growth and employee development. Lowe's operates a range of departments including tools, hardware, appliances, paint, flooring, and outdoor living merchandise, serving a broad array of customers who seek expert advice and resources to complete their projects successfully.

The Customer Service Associate role at Lowe's is an essential position focused on delivering SMART (Safety, Mutual respect, Accountability, Results, and Trust) customer service at all times by following Lowe's established customer service policies, procedures, and programs. This position requires an individual who is proactive in seeking out customers, understanding their needs, and providing knowledgeable assistance in locating, demonstrating, selecting, carrying, or loading merchandise. The role also involves guiding customers through various projects and explaining product features, benefits, applications, warranties, and Lowe's special programs.

In addition to direct customer interaction, the Customer Service Associate is responsible for cross-functional training across different areas of the store, ensuring a seamless shopping experience and contributing to team efforts. The associate plays a pivotal role in maintaining store safety and security by recognizing potential risks like shoplifting and theft and communicating such observations promptly. They uphold store presentation standards, maintaining cleanliness and organization through initiatives like Zone Recovery, and ensure a safe working environment by adhering to safety protocols such as top stock safety, reinstalling safety cables, and proper use of safety devices.

This position often requires operating various store equipment such as Zebra phones, paging systems, copiers, fax machines, computers, CCTV surveillance, key cutters, panel saws, paint mixers, flooring cutters, compactor balers, and tools rental systems. The Customer Service Associate’s responsibilities also extend to writing customer contracts and invoices in the Tool Rental Department. This full-time role offers the opportunity to gain valuable retail and customer service experience within one of the most respected retail environments in the home improvement sector. Lowe's also emphasizes equal opportunity employment and provides a supportive workplace where diversity and inclusion are valued.

Compensation for this position varies depending on factors such as location, education, and experience, and employees are eligible for a comprehensive benefits program.
