Job Requirements

  • Must be legally authorized to work in the U.S.
  • 18 years of age or older
  • certification in ABC Responsible Beverage Service (RBS) or ability to obtain
  • certification in California Food Handler or ability to obtain
  • competent in payment processing
  • ability to work in a fast-paced team environment
  • strong organizational skills and attention to detail
  • excellent communication skills
  • physical ability to stand for long periods

Job Qualifications

  • Must be legally authorized to work in the U.S.
  • applicants must be 18 years of age or older
  • must have or be able to obtain ABC Responsible Beverage Service (RBS) certification
  • must have or be able to obtain California Food Handler Certification
  • competent in handling payments accurately including cash and credit cards

Job Duties

  • Greet guests warmly and inform them of specials or promotions
  • verify guest identification to ensure legal age for alcohol service
  • operate the point-of-sale (POS) system to accept cash and process credit card payments accurately
  • wrap and bag to-go orders efficiently and with care
  • assist other restaurant staff as needed to maintain smooth operations
  • anticipate guest needs and provide a professional, friendly experience
  • complete opening, side work, and closing duties to ensure restaurant is fully prepared for service
  • maintain all safety, sanitation, and cleanliness standards in accordance with Health Department and restaurant guidelines
