The High Desert Museum, located in Bend, Oregon, is a renowned interdisciplinary museum that shares the unique stories of the High Desert region across 11 states of the Intermountain West. The Rim Rock Cafe at the High Desert Museum is currently seeking a dedicated Café Associate to join their team. This position is hourly, part-time or full-time seasonal, non-exempt, and offers a competitive wage of $20.60 per hour. Reporting to the Cafe Manager and Cafe Leads, the Café Associate plays a crucial role in delivering excellent customer service and maintaining the café’s operations in alignment with the museum’s standards. The position entails a variety of responsibilities including greeting and assisting guests, preparing and cooking food items according to orders, cashiering, bus and dishwashing duties, receiving and checking products, and maintaining cleanliness in compliance with health and safety regulations. This role demands a strong commitment to hygiene, safety, and guest satisfaction, as well as a team-oriented mindset. Candidates must possess a current OLCC Server Permit and Food Handler card to be eligible.
