The role on offer is that of a dedicated Bellperson who plays a pivotal role in guest satisfaction and the overall guest experience. This position involves welcoming guests on arrival and departure, assisting with luggage handling, and delivering packages and parcels within the hotel. The Bellperson is often the first point of contact for guests and is essential in setting the tone for a warm, professional, and hospitable stay. Beyond physical tasks, the role demands excellent interpersonal skills to handle special requests, resolve complaints, and provide helpful information about hotel facilities, local attractions, and events.

Bellpersons at Four Seasons Denver are expected to maintain meticulous records, adhere strictly to the company’s standards of conduct, and work collaboratively with colleagues to ensure a smooth operation. Additional duties may include shoeshine services, running errands both on and off the hotel premises, and assisting concierge or valet teams during peak periods. The position is scheduled for an eight-hour shift with variable days and times based on operational needs.

Job Requirements

  • High school diploma or equivalent
  • prior experience in hospitality or customer service preferred
  • ability to communicate effectively in English
  • physical ability to handle luggage and perform shoeshine services
  • willing to work flexible shifts including weekends and holidays
  • ability to maintain professionalism under pressure
  • adherence to company policies and standards

Job Duties

  • Greet guests and escort them to their rooms
  • deliver luggage to rooms upon check-in and pick up luggage upon departure, moving it to storage or front drive
  • maintain proper records of deliveries and pick-ups
  • handle guest interactions with the highest level of hospitality and professionalism, accommodating special requests and resolving complaints
  • greet all guests passing through the lobby and offer assistance
  • comply with Four Seasons work rules and standards of conduct
  • work harmoniously and professionally with co-workers and supervisors
  • perform shoeshine service including picking up, cleaning, polishing, and returning shoes
  • perform errands for guests and hotel that may require local travel off hotel property
