Job Requirements

  • High school diploma or equivalent
  • minimum 2 years bartender experience
  • valid bartender’s certification or license
  • knowledge of drink recipes and portion controls
  • ability to follow state, federal, and company alcohol regulations
  • excellent communication skills
  • ability to work flexible hours including nights, weekends, and holidays
  • ability to work under pressure
  • friendly and people-oriented attitude
  • legal age to serve alcohol as per state law

Job Qualifications

  • Current bartender's certification or appropriate license
  • 2-4 years of bartending experience
  • knowledgeable in drink recipes, mixology trends, wine, beer, cocktails, and spirits
  • excellent communication skills
  • ability to work under pressure in a fast-paced environment
  • engaging and welcoming personality
  • knowledge of all laws related to serving minors and handling intoxicated guests

Job Duties

  • Greet guests as they arrive or move about the dive bar area
  • maintain proper and adequate set-up of the bar daily
  • guide guests on their beverage journey through descriptive selling of the menu
  • be accurate in order taking and confirm all special requests
  • collaborate with other servers and kitchen/bar staff
  • finalize the experience through timely and accurate bill presentation
  • requisition and stock all beer, wine, spirits
  • maintain stock, cutting, and storing of fresh fruit and vegetable garnishes, juices, and perishables
  • mix, garnish, and present drinks following standard recipes and portion control
  • input orders into the register and create checks for each guest
  • lock up and secure beverages, food, equipment, deposits, and cash bank
