Job Requirements
- High school diploma or equivalent
- minimum 2 years bartender experience
- valid bartender’s certification or license
- knowledge of drink recipes and portion controls
- ability to follow state, federal, and company alcohol regulations
- excellent communication skills
- ability to work flexible hours including nights, weekends, and holidays
- ability to work under pressure
- friendly and people-oriented attitude
- legal age to serve alcohol as per state law
Job Qualifications
- Current bartender's certification or appropriate license
- 2-4 years of bartending experience
- knowledgeable in drink recipes, mixology trends, wine, beer, cocktails, and spirits
- excellent communication skills
- ability to work under pressure in a fast-paced environment
- engaging and welcoming personality
- knowledge of all laws related to serving minors and handling intoxicated guests
Job Duties
- Greet guests as they arrive or move about the dive bar area
- maintain proper and adequate set-up of the bar daily
- guide guests on their beverage journey through descriptive selling of the menu
- be accurate in order taking and confirm all special requests
- collaborate with other servers and kitchen/bar staff
- finalize the experience through timely and accurate bill presentation
- requisition and stock all beer, wine, spirits
- maintain stock, cutting, and storing of fresh fruit and vegetable garnishes, juices, and perishables
- mix, garnish, and present drinks following standard recipes and portion control
- input orders into the register and create checks for each guest
- lock up and secure beverages, food, equipment, deposits, and cash bank
