Job Description
The State Hotel, nestled in the heart of a vibrant cityscape, is a premier boutique hospitality establishment renowned for its blend of historic charm and contemporary style. Complementing the hotel is Little Ben's, an elegant rooftop bar that offers breathtaking views alongside an eclectic mix of handcrafted cocktails and exceptional service. Together, they create a destination that appeals to locals and travelers who seek memorable experiences in an inviting and sophisticated environment. Columbia Hospitality, the management company behind this iconic venue, is committed to fostering a culture that values diversity, inclusion, and the personal growth of its team members.
We are currently seeking a Seasonal Bartender to join our dynamic team at Little Ben’s rooftop bar. This role is designed for someone who is passionate about mixology, guest interaction, and creating a welcoming atmosphere. As a Seasonal Bartender, you will be an essential ambassador of our brand, responsible for crafting inspired cocktails, managing bar inventory efficiently, and delivering exceptional customer service. You will also maintain a safe and clean working environment while independently opening and closing the rooftop bar. The hourly pay for this position ranges from $21 to $22 depending on experience, with eligibility for a range of benefits including paid time off, comprehensive health coverage, and more.
In this role, your expertise in cocktail crafting and bar management will directly contribute to elevating the guest experience at Little Ben's, ensuring every visitor feels valued and delighted. You will engage guests by greeting them warmly, taking orders, providing knowledgeable recommendations, and verifying identification. Additionally, you will handle cash transactions, maintain bar supplies, and collaborate with the adjacent Ben Paris restaurant for placing food orders for guests. Successful candidates must be able to perform physical tasks such as lifting up to 30 pounds and standing for extended periods.
What sets this position apart is its alignment with Columbia Hospitality's core values, focusing on creating exceptional experiences through a people-first approach. The company promotes a supportive workplace where every team member is encouraged to grow, learn, and participate in community and volunteer programs. If you are someone who thrives in a vibrant bar setting, enjoys making connections with guests, and values an inclusive culture, this seasonal opportunity at The State Hotel and Little Ben's rooftop bar offers both professional and personal rewards.
