This seasonal Bartender role, located at Dune Deck Beach Club and The Hills in East Quogue, New York, is a critical position within the Food & Beverage - Service Department. The employment period spans from May 1, 2026, to October 7, 2026, with H-2B visa sponsorship available for in-country extensions. As a Bartender, you will be integral in crafting exceptional cocktails, executing established recipes with precision, and continuously contributing innovative ideas to elevate the beverage program. Your expertise will be essential in greeting guests warmly, maintaining the cleanliness and organization of the bar, and demonstrating comprehensive knowledge of all beverages, including a well-curated wine list.

This position requires a passionate individual who thrives in high-volume, fast-paced environments and possesses a deep commitment to customer service excellence. You will be responsible for processing transactions accurately through the point-of-sale system and offering tailored beverage recommendations, enhancing the overall guest experience. Job Requirements

Ability to perform physical tasks such as standing, walking, lifting items sometimes greater than 50 pounds

Experience in a high-volume front-of-house environment

Job Qualifications

Twelve months of front-of-house experience in high-volume restaurants, resorts, or private clubs
Required to work a flexible schedule, including evenings, weekends, holidays, and shifts greater than eight hours in length
Required to read, write, speak, and understand English
Required to work indoors and outdoors
Required to stand, walk, and move for a period of greater than four hours
Required to lift, carry, bend, stoop, squat, reach, push and pull
Positive attitude, professional demeanor, and exceptional communication and interpersonal skills to deliver service to members, guests, and team members
Ability to work in a team environment
Ability to stay calm and focused during the busiest of times

Job Duties

Execute craft cocktails and continuously create and present new ideas to management
Mix and serve drinks to patrons, directly or through waitstaff
Greet all guests and members promptly and politely, and by name whenever possible
Maintain cleanliness and organization of bar/bar storage areas at all times
Execute cocktail recipes and demonstrate ability to follow recipes for syrups and all house-made ingredients
Enter all transactions accordingly into point-of-sale system and issue accurate checks to members and guests
Display extensive knowledge of all beverages and ingredients, as well as recommendations for pairings of food
Demonstrate comprehensive knowledge of wine and ability to make recommendations from the club wine list
Demonstrate sense of urgency for responding to guest needs during all interactions
