Job Description

Cinepolis USA is a leading luxury cinema exhibitor committed to delivering an exceptional movie-going experience through its unique theater concepts, including "Cinepolis Luxury Cinemas" and "Movie House & Eatery." Headquartered in Dallas, Texas, Cinepolis operates 26 upscale theaters located across California, Florida, New Jersey, Connecticut, Texas, Maryland, and Ohio, with ongoing plans for further expansion. As a member of Cinepolis International — the world’s most popular movie theater exhibitor — the company prides itself on innovation, film culture, and outstanding hospitality worldwide.

Working for Cinepolis USA means joining a distinguished entertainment company that prioritizes customer satisfaction, team member welfare, and excellence in service. Cinepolis employees benefit from a generous discount on tickets, food, and nonalcoholic beverages, as well as special gifts to celebrate significant employment anniversaries. With competitive base pay between $18.00 and $20.00 per hour and an inviting workplace environment, Cinepolis provides not only a job but an immersive career in cinema hospitality.

The current opportunity is for a dedicated Bar Team Member in the Operations department at various theater locations. Reporting directly to the General Manager, this role is essential in enhancing the guest experience by delivering exceptional bar service across the venue. Bar Team Members are the face of Cinepolis at bar areas and are expected to uphold the company’s commitment to "Nice and Amazing Service" by greeting guests warmly and attending to their food and beverage needs with enthusiasm and accuracy. The role demands a genuine passion for hospitality, deep product knowledge, and a proactive approach to customer engagement that drives sales and creates memorable experiences.

Key responsibilities include preparing and serving both alcoholic and nonalcoholic beverages, ensuring responsible alcohol service, maintaining bar cleanliness, managing inventory levels efficiently, and resolving guest issues constructively. This position also involves processing payments accurately and complying with all safety and legal requirements related to alcohol service. Working at Cinepolis requires flexibility, as team members are expected to work nights, holidays, and weekends, adapting smoothly to a fast-paced, sometimes noisy cinema environment. Physical demands include standing for extended periods, some lifting, and continuous interaction with guests and management.

Successful candidates bring at least one year of bartending experience with a full bar, certifications in ServSafe and alcohol safety, and familiarity with point-of-sale systems. Interpersonal skills, organization, communication, and the ability to thrive under pressure while maintaining a positive attitude are essential. Cinepolis USA fosters an inclusive workplace that embraces diversity and prohibits discrimination in all forms. Joining Cinepolis means contributing to a culture where films and exceptional service come together to create unique entertainment experiences that delight audiences and nurture a strong team atmosphere.
