Job Requirements
- Basic math skills
- Ability to use electronic POS (primarily iPad/tablet based)
- Ability to handle cash
- Positive, engaging personality and professional experience
- Excellent verbal communication skills
- Ability to stand, walk, bend, etc. for an extended period and lift 25 lbs
- Ability to work in all weather conditions
- Must be able to commit to working a minimum of 5 shifts (a single shift is defined as a scheduled 5 hours) for a total of 25 hours over the course of Musikfest
Job Qualifications
- Positive, engaging personality
- Professional experience in bartending or customer service roles
- Excellent verbal communication skills
- Ability to make drink recommendations
- Familiarity with POS systems, primarily iPad/tablet based
- Ability to work in fast-paced, high-energy environments
- RAMP Certification is preferred
Job Duties
- Taking drink orders and preparing the customer's drink
- Making recommendations to customers based on preference, when asked
- Checking identification to ensure customers are of the legal age to consume alcoholic beverages
- Taking inventory of all stock - consumables and non-consumables - and alerting your supervisor of what you might need
- Processing all cash and credit/debit transactions, ensuring that charges are accurate using a POS
- Daily set up and breakdown of bar area and properly storing products during closed hours
- Daily bar preparations included but not limited to restocking and fruit cutting
