Job Requirements
- high school diploma or equivalent
- legal age to serve alcohol
- ability to stand for long periods
- excellent customer service skills
- ability to handle cash and credit transactions accurately
- attention to detail
- ability to work flexible hours including nights and weekends
Job Qualifications
- experience in bartending or customer service
- excellent communication skills
- knowledge of drink preparation and mixology
- familiarity with POS systems
- ability to maintain cleanliness and organization
- friendly and professional demeanor
- ability to work in a fast-paced environment
Job Duties
- taking drink orders and preparing the customer's drink
- making recommendations to customers based on preference when asked
- checking identification to ensure customers are of legal age to consume alcoholic beverages
- taking inventory of all stock - consumables and non-consumables - and alerting supervisor of what might be needed
- processing all cash and credit/debit transactions ensuring that charges are accurate using a POS
- daily set up and breakdown of bar area and properly storing products during closed hours
- daily bar preparations including restocking and fruit cutting
- bar set up in advance of events
