The Four Seasons Hotel Minneapolis is seeking a Barista to join their talented team. This full-time role offers employment from approximately July 2026 through the end of October 2026. As a Barista, the primary responsibility is to serve guest needs by delivering expert knowledge of coffee, tea, and food items along with information about preparation methods. The ideal candidate will be passionate about creating exceptional guest experiences by providing meticulous service from counter take orders to ensuring guests are delighted with their beverage and food selections. The Barista will play a vital role in fostering memorable moments by describing selections vividly and attentively accommodating special requests, using the hotel’s point-of-sale systems to process orders and payments accurately and efficiently.

Job Requirements

  • High school education or equivalent experience
  • minimum 2 years of hospitality or related work experience preferred
  • proficiency in reading, writing and oral English
  • ability to make coffee and tea drinks at guest requests according to Four Seasons standards
  • ability to accurately process cash and credit card transactions
  • valid work authorization for the U.S.

Job Duties

  • Provide counter service to guests by taking verbal requests for food and accommodating expediting of those requests using the hotel’s point-of-sales system
  • describe food and beverage menu items vividly including origin, taste, and preparation methods
  • accommodate guest orders, anticipate guest needs, ascertain satisfaction, and offer suggestions
  • properly and accurately close guest checks, process cash and credit card payments, and settle voided checks or complimentary items
  • breakdown, clean, and set up Stir and its adjacent areas including front of house, back of house, and seating areas
  • comply with Four Seasons’ Category One and Category Two Work Rules and Standards of Conduct
  • work harmoniously and professionally with co-workers and supervisors
  • assist with daily inventory, ordering, and stocking of food, beverage, and paper supplies
