The Barback plays a crucial role by supporting bartenders in all aspects of bar operations, ensuring that the bar runs smoothly and efficiently throughout each shift. This position requires a flexible schedule, including availability on evenings, weekends, and holidays.
As a Barback, you will assist bartenders by preparing all necessary items for flawless service, maintaining ample stock and product availability, and contributing to an outstanding customer experience. You will also develop foundational knowledge of spirits, craft cocktails, and the back bar that will enrich your professional skills and understanding of the industry. The role includes working in varied environments, including indoors and outdoors, and requires physical stamina to lift up to 55 pounds and work in conditions that may involve loud noise, varying temperatures, and exposure to mechanical equipment. Job Requirements
- Must be at least 21 years of age
- must be able to sit and or stand for long periods of time and work on a computer for extended periods
- must be physically able to lift up to 55 lbs
- must have a flexible schedule to work evenings, weekends, and holidays

Job Qualifications
- Utilize effective communication skills
- able to work evenings, weekends, and holidays as needed
- 1 to 2 years of experience in a restaurant support role is preferred
- general knowledge and enthusiasm for craft distilling and spirits
Job Duties
- Assist the bartender in the efficient running of all bar operations in all bar areas
- prepare all items needed to execute a flawless shift
- ensure there is enough product available and assist in setting the bar and yourself up for success
- develop a basic knowledge of spirits, craft cocktails and the back bar
- commit to delivering an outstanding customer experience to the guests and the bartenders
