Job Requirements

  • high school diploma or equivalent
  • ability to conduct watercraft inspections and surveys
  • excellent communication skills
  • physical ability to work outdoors for extended periods
  • willingness to educate and engage with the public
  • flexibility to work weekends and holidays
  • reliable and punctual
  • valid work authorization in the United States

Job Qualifications

  • high school diploma or equivalent
  • experience in customer service or environmental education preferred
  • strong communication and interpersonal skills
  • ability to work outdoors in various weather conditions
  • basic knowledge of aquatic ecosystems and invasive species
  • ability to follow detailed protocols and safety guidelines

Job Duties

  • inform and educate the public about threats of aquatic invasive species
  • conduct surveys and watercraft inspections to prevent AIS spread
  • perform customer service tasks to ensure efficient park operations
  • maintain safety and cleanliness standards in the park reserve
  • assist with environmental outreach and awareness programs
  • support the implementation of conservation policies
  • monitor and report on AIS-related activities
