Beverly Wilshire, Beverly Hills, A Four Seasons Hotel, is an iconic luxury hotel known for its rich history since its opening in 1928. It has been the preferred destination for celebrities, royalty, and elite visitors worldwide. Situated at the prestigious intersection of Wilshire Boulevard and Rodeo Drive, the location offers guests immediate access to world-class designer shopping, fine dining, and stunning views characteristic of Beverly Hills. Recruiting for a seasonal full-time Pool Host, this role is pivotal in shaping both guest and employee experiences by bringing enthusiasm, knowledge, and exceptional service to the hotel's pool amenities. Reporting directly to the General Manager of the Restaurant, this position requires work authorization for the location and is expected to be needed through late September 2026, subject to business demands.

The Pool Host is responsible for welcoming guests in a gracious and professional manner, ensuring their comfort and satisfaction while managing the dynamic, high-volume environment of the pool area. The role includes setting up the host/hostess stand, reviewing reservations, preparing the pool for business, inspecting cleanliness and table setups, managing menus, and fully understanding the daily menu offerings and server assignments. The Pool Host must maintain service standards, handle guests with and without reservations, manage lost and found items, seat guests promptly, and personalize the guest experience by addressing them by name. Handling guest dissatisfaction and escalating issues appropriately is also a key part of the role.

Ideal candidates will bring excellent communication skills, computer literacy, organizational abilities, and a positive attitude with a willingness to learn. Prior experience of at least two years in a similar role is preferred. The position requires a flexible schedule, including the ability to work weekends and holidays.

The compensation structure includes an hourly wage starting at $26.07 for the first nine months (80% of contract rate) and $29.33 for the next nine months (90% of contract rate).
