Job Description

KLINGER GPI is a prominent industrial company specializing in sealing and control products, with a rich heritage rooted in West Texas. Formed in 2020 through the merger of the West Texas-based Gasket & Packings, Inc. and the KLINGER Group, along with a subsequent 2023 merger with KLINGER's Houston gasket manufacturing facility, KLINGER GPI has established itself as a leader in the industrial market. Operating out of three Texas locations, the company is committed to quality and excellence, holding ISO 9001 and ISO 17025 accreditations. KLINGER GPI offers an extensive range of products, including gaskets, valves, instrumentation, hoses, expansion joints, fasteners, and hydraulic bolt tightening equipment. Additionally, the company provides valuable in-house and mobile tool calibration and repair services to ensure continuous and efficient operations for its customers.

The Sealing Product Specialist position at KLINGER GPI is an exciting opportunity tailored for motivated individuals in the West Texas region, specifically based in Lubbock, TX. This role offers versatility and growth potential for candidates with a Process Technology certificate or those experienced in sales within the oil and gas industry, whether in inside or outside sales capacities. The successful candidate will join a highly driven team dedicated to representing KLINGER's diverse portfolio of products and providing exceptional service to industrial markets. Offering a competitive salary ranging from $50,000 to $100,000 based on experience, this role also includes a quarterly KPI bonus and access to a vehicle allowance, making it an attractive opportunity for career advancement.

In this role, you will play a critical part in expanding KLINGER GPI's market share in the oil and gas sector. Your daily responsibilities will include building and nurturing strong relationships with existing customers while actively seeking new business opportunities. The position requires a strategic approach to sales, focusing on delivering value, building trust, and fostering long-term partnerships. Using your problem-solving skills and sales expertise, you will meet and exceed customer expectations and company targets. KLINGER GPI values professionals who are passionate about connecting with people, thinking strategically, and contributing directly to company growth.

This role suits individuals who thrive in dynamic environments and possess a competitive, self-motivated mindset paired with an entrepreneurial spirit. Being on the road to visit customers, the ideal candidate must have a valid driver's license and a clean driving record. Familiarity with sales tools and software is highly beneficial to hit the ground running. Success in this role is also predicated on adaptability and a willingness to learn continuously, given the varied nature of customers and market needs. Additionally, the ability to pass background checks and drug screenings is essential for site access and compliance with company policies. With comprehensive benefits including medical, dental, vision insurance, 401(k) matching, life insurance, health savings and flexible spending accounts, as well as paid time off, KLINGER GPI demonstrates its commitment to employee wellbeing.
