This Travel School Psychologist position is based in St. Louis, Missouri, a historic city celebrated for its iconic Gateway Arch, rich cultural offerings, vibrant neighborhoods, and diverse recreational activities. Working as a Travel School Psychologist in this dynamic environment offers a unique chance to support students in K-12 educational settings while enjoying the city’s lively downtown, community events, and scenic riverfront. The role entails identifying students with learning, behavioral, or physical challenges and conducting comprehensive psychological evaluations to support their academic and social development. The School Psychologist will lead evaluation teams, interpret assessment data, collaborate closely with educators, families, and other professionals, and contribute to the design and implementation of individualized education programs (IEPs). Additionally, responsibilities include providing crisis intervention and counseling services, ensuring compliance with relevant state and federal regulations, and maintaining accurate records.

To excel in this role, candidates should possess strong leadership, organizational, and communication skills, as well as proficiency in assessment techniques and psychological data interpretation. Experience working with the Missouri School Psychologist certification or licensure is essential. A master’s or specialist’s degree in psychology, counseling, or education is required, along with familiarity with IEP systems and therapeutic interventions. This position offers a competitive pay rate ranging from $1,866 to $1,923 per week, on a 6.5-day shift schedule.
