Job Requirements
- High school or GED equivalent
- Certificate associate or bachelor’s degree in food service culinary arts or related field preferred
- 2 plus years of experience cooking
- Experience working in a large institution preferred
- ServSafe certification
- CPR and first aid certification
- Kitchen manager license

Job Duties
- Create update and follow the school HACCP plan
- Knowledge of operations of a school cafeteria
- Estimate food quantities and requisition proper amounts for economical food service
- Understand basic math and measurements
- Operate standard cafeteria equipment and appliances
- Maintain records and prepare reports
- Follow sanitation and safety practices related to food preparation and service
