Job Requirements

must be 18 years of age or older
no experience required and on the job training provided
no high school diploma GED or college degree required

prior customer service experience
one year of prior similar work experience

Job Duties

clean and maintain assigned area including classrooms hallways restrooms locker rooms office and stairways
sweep remove debris clean spills and mop floors in designated areas
regularly check trash receptacles emptying as needed
follow procedures for the use of chemical cleaners and power equipment to prevent damage
notify lead cleaner or manager about the need for minor or major repairs
establish and maintain effective communication and working relationships with clients coworkers and supervisors
collect consolidate and separate recycling into proper receptacles
clean and dust desks chairs tables furniture fixtures doors sills floors ceiling and walls
polish hard surfaces e g woodwork stainless steel surfaces
wipe and clean tabletops chairs and equipment in food areas
move cabinets boxes furniture crates and equipment to clean areas manually or by hand trucks
clean interior partition glass windows glass partitions and mirrors
perform seasonal tasks such as sweeping walks raking leaves cutting grass and removing snow
maintain cleanliness of restrooms including cleaning and polishing
comply with all safety security compliance and quality standards and procedures
