Job Requirements
- Must be 18 years of age or older
- No experience required as on-the-job training is provided
- Ability to follow safety and cleaning protocols
- Willingness to perform seasonal outdoor tasks such as snow removal and leaf raking
- Ability to work independently and as part of a team
- Must comply with all company and regulatory safety, security, and quality standards
- Must be able to communicate clearly and maintain effective working relationships
Job Qualifications
- No high school diploma, GED or college degree required
- Prior customer service experience preferred
- One year of similar work experience preferred
- Ability to communicate effectively with clients, coworkers, and supervisors
- Capability to operate cleaning equipment and use chemical cleaners safely
- Ability to perform physical tasks including lifting, moving furniture, and manual labor
- Strong attention to detail and commitment to maintaining a clean environment
Job Duties
- Clean and maintain assigned areas including classrooms, hallways, restrooms, locker rooms, offices, and stairways
- Sweep, remove debris, clean spills, and mop floors in designated areas
- Regularly check and empty trash receptacles in all designated areas
- Follow procedures for the use of chemical cleaners and power equipment to prevent damage
- Notify lead cleaner or manager about needed repairs or additions to building systems
- Establish and maintain effective communication with clients, coworkers, supervisors, and managers
- Collect, consolidate, and separate recycling into proper receptacles
- Clean and dust furniture, fixtures, doors, sills, floors, ceilings, and walls
- Polish hard surfaces such as woodwork and stainless steel
- Wipe and clean tabletops, chairs, and equipment in food areas
- Move furniture and equipment manually or using hand trucks to clean areas
- Clean interior partition glass, windows, mirrors, and glass partitions
- Perform seasonal tasks including sweeping walks, raking leaves, cutting grass, and snow removal
- Maintain restroom cleanliness including cleaning and polishing
- Comply with safety, security, compliance, and quality standards established by the company, clients, and regulatory authorities
