Job Requirements
- Must be 18 years of age or older
- No high school diploma, GED or college degree required
- No experience required and on the job training provided
- Ability to perform physical tasks including lifting and moving furniture and equipment
- Must comply with all company safety and operational guidelines
- Ability to work varied shifts including early mornings, evenings, or weekends as needed

- One year of prior similar work experience preferred
- Ability to follow safety and cleaning procedures

Job Duties
- Clean and maintain assigned area including classrooms, hallways, restrooms, locker rooms, offices, and stairways
- Sweep, remove debris, clean spills, and mop floors in designated areas
- Regularly check and empty trash receptacles as needed
- Follow procedures for the use of chemical cleaners and power equipment to prevent damage to floors and fixtures
- Notify lead cleaner or manager of repair or maintenance needs
- Establish and maintain effective communication and working relationships with clients, co-workers, supervisors, and managers
- Collect, consolidate, and separate recycling into proper receptacles
- Clean and dust desks, chairs, tables, furniture, fixtures, doors, sills, floors, ceiling, and walls
- Polish hard surfaces such as woodwork and stainless steel
- Wipe and clean tabletops, chairs, and equipment in food areas
- Move furniture, boxes, cabinets, crates, and equipment manually or using hand trucks
- Clean interior glass, windows, partitions, and mirrors
- Sweep walks, rake leaves, cut grass, remove snow, and perform incidental seasonal tasks
- Maintain the cleanliness of restrooms including cleaning and polishing
- Comply with all safety, security, compliance, and quality standards established by the company, clients, and regulatory authorities
