Job Description

Home Care Providers is a reputable home healthcare company based in Indianapolis, IN, with over 20 years of experience dedicated to putting patients first. The company specializes in delivering compassionate, around-the-clock home healthcare services, enabling patients to maintain their independence and dignity in the comfort of their own homes. With extensive expertise in the home care industry, Home Care Providers has established itself as a trusted leader known for quality, reliability, and personalized care. Their team consists of various clinical professionals including Registered Nurses (RNs), Licensed Practical Nurses (LPNs), Physical Therapists (PTs), Occupational Therapists (OTs), and specialty staff, all committed to providing exceptional care tailored to the unique needs of each patient.

Currently, Home Care Providers is actively expanding and seeking a dedicated Scheduler who holds an active LPN license. This vital full-time position, based out of the Indianapolis office, offers competitive pay starting at $23 hourly along with a comprehensive benefits package. The Scheduler will play a crucial role in ensuring seamless coordination and management of patient visits by efficiently scheduling nursing and therapy staff using the company’s proprietary scheduling platform, Paseva. The role is central to maintaining operational efficiency and quality service delivery by assigning the appropriate clinical personnel to newly referred patients and effectively managing staff schedules, paid time off (PTO), call-offs, and special visit requests.

The ideal candidate will have a strong background in healthcare scheduling with at least two years of experience in a medical office setting, preferably within home health. Advanced computer skills and knowledge of medical terminology and coding are essential to excel in this role. The Scheduler will be responsible for maintaining accurate records, including start-of-care (SOC) spreadsheets and weekly reports, and providing administrative support such as scanning, filing, and medical records management. This role also involves collaborating closely with Clinical Directors to assist with staff evaluations, onboarding, and supporting case managers with supervisory visits involving various licensed staff and aides.

This position not only demands technical proficiency but also requires excellent communication skills to interact effectively with patients regarding their scheduling needs and to document and escalate any field staff incidents or complaints. Maintaining a professional and positive attitude consistently while collaborating with other departments to resolve scheduling or operational issues is paramount. Home Care Providers emphasizes a supportive and rewarding work environment where employees are valued, career growth is encouraged, and meaningful patient care is the top priority.

In addition to a rewarding career as a Scheduler, employees enjoy competitive benefits including medical, dental, and vision insurance, three weeks of paid days off (PDO) per year, referral bonuses, annual evaluations with merit-based salary increases, and a 401(k) match. The company also offers opportunities for various employment roles, including full-time, part-time, and per diem schedules across several states including AZ, CA, CT, FL, IL, IN, MA, MN, NV, and OH. By joining Home Care Providers, you become part of a compassionate team dedicated to enhancing the lives of patients and supporting the community through high-quality home healthcare services. This role offers a meaningful opportunity to contribute to patient well-being while advancing your healthcare career in a stable and growth-oriented organization.
