The position available is for a full-time Scheduler, based in the Indianapolis office. The Scheduler plays a crucial role in managing the care schedules for registered nurses (RNs), licensed practical nurses (LPNs), physical therapists (PTs), occupational therapists (OTs), and other clinical staff. Using the Paseva scheduling platform, the Scheduler is responsible for efficiently coordinating patient visits and staff assignments to ensure seamless delivery of care. This role also requires close collaboration with clinical directors, case managers, and other departments to support operational excellence across the organization. Starting pay for this role is $20 per hour, reflecting the company’s commitment to competitive compensation alongside comprehensive benefits. Job Requirements
- High school diploma or equivalent
- 2+ years of scheduling experience in healthcare, preferably home health
- experience in a medical office setting
- knowledge of medical terminology and coding
- proficiency with scheduling software and advanced computer skills
- reliable transportation and ability to commute to Indianapolis office for 8 AM - 5 PM shift
- strong communication and organizational skills
- ability to multitask and maintain attention to detail
- professional demeanor and positive attitude
Job Qualifications
- 2+ years of scheduling in a healthcare setting (home health preferred)
- 2+ years of experience in a medical office
- knowledge of medical terminology and coding
- advanced computer skills
- ability to work 8 AM - 5 PM from Indianapolis office
Job Duties
- Schedule visits for newly referred patients and assign appropriate clinical staff
- coordinate staff schedules, PTO, call-offs, and special visit requests
- communicate with patients regarding scheduling and specific needs
- track and maintain SOC spreadsheets and weekly reports
- assist Clinical Directors with staff evaluations and onboarding
- document and report field staff incidents/complaints
- enter communications in Call Log and provide related reports
- support Case Managers with LPN/LVN, PTA, COTA, and aide supervisory visits
- handle office tasks: scanning, filing, emailing, medical records management
- collaborate with other departments to resolve issues
- maintain a professional, positive attitude at all times
