Job Requirements
- High school diploma or equivalent
- minimum 2 years of scheduling experience in healthcare
- familiarity with home health care preferred
- experience working in a medical office
- proficiency in medical terminology and coding
- strong computer skills and ability to learn scheduling software
- excellent communication and organizational skills
- ability to work full-time hours 8 AM to 5 PM in an office-based environment in Indianapolis, IN
Job Qualifications
- 2+ years of scheduling in a healthcare setting (home health preferred)
- 2+ years of experience in a medical office
- knowledge of medical terminology and coding
- advanced computer skills
- ability to work 8 AM to 5 PM from Indianapolis office
Job Duties
- Schedule visits for newly referred patients and assign appropriate clinical staff
- coordinate staff schedules including PTO, call-offs, and special visit requests
- communicate with patients regarding scheduling and specific needs
- track and maintain start of care (SOC) spreadsheets and weekly reports
- assist Clinical Directors with staff evaluations and onboarding
- document and report field staff incidents and complaints
- enter communications in Call Log and provide related reports
- support Case Managers with LPN/LVN, PTA, COTA, and aide supervisory visits
- handle office tasks such as scanning, filing, emailing, and medical records management
- collaborate with other departments to resolve issues
- maintain a professional, positive attitude at all times
