Job Requirements

  • High school diploma or equivalent
  • Minimum six months cooking experience
  • Ability to follow food safety standards
  • Valid driver's license with no more than 3 points
  • Own transportation meeting agency vehicle inspection requirements
  • Proof of insurance meeting agency standards
  • Flexible and reliable work ethic

Job Qualifications

  • High school diploma or equivalent
  • At least six months of experience as a cook, preferably in child or youth environments
  • Ability to follow regulatory food preparation standards
  • Good communication skills with children
  • Attention to detail and consistency in following procedures
  • Flexible and able to work across multiple CSI locations
  • At least 19 years of age

Job Duties

  • Prepare and cook meals according to health and safety standards
  • Store food properly to maintain nutritional quality and safety
  • Maintain cleanliness and organization of the kitchen workspace
  • Follow regulatory guidelines for food preparation
  • Communicate effectively and nurturing with children
  • Support CSI programs through culinary responsibilities
  • Assist with inventory and kitchen supply management
