This position is for a full-time Senior Cook (Conformance) located at the USMC Garrison. The hourly pay rate is $21.12. As a Senior Cook with Sodexo, you will be an integral part of a culinary team delivering nutritious and delicious meals for diverse meal periods including breakfast, lunch, dinner, and special catered events. Beyond cooking, the role involves supervising and directing subordinate cooks, ensuring compliance with Service Contract Act (SCA) standards, managing food preparation efficiently, and contributing to reducing food waste. Job Requirements

- Minimum 4 years of professional cooking experience
- Proven ability to lead and manage kitchen staff

Job Duties
- Prepare, portion, cook, and present a variety of hot and cold food items for breakfast, lunch, dinner, and special catered events
- Supervise Service Contract Act (SCA) Cook IIs and possibly other lower-level positions
- Attend work and show for scheduled shifts on time with satisfactory regularity
- Direct staff and allocate resources efficiently
- Reduce food waste through proper portioning and preparation
- Maintain a healthy and safe working environment
- Perform other duties as assigned according to client and business needs
