The role of SCA Cook II at Sodexo, based at the San Jose Job Corps center, is a full-time position with a pay rate of $27.00 per hour. Job Requirements

  • Minimum of 3 years related cooking experience

Job Duties

  • Prepare large quantities, by various methods of cooking, meat, poultry, fish, and vegetables
  • Season and cook all cuts of various meats, fish, and poultry
  • Boil, steam, or fry vegetables
  • Make gravies, soups, sauces, roasts, meat pies, fricassees, casseroles, and stews
  • Attend work and show for scheduled shift on time with satisfactory regularity
  • Perform other duties as assigned that may differ among accounts based on business necessities and client requirements
