The role offered is an overnight Front Desk and Night Audit position, vital for the smooth functioning of the property's overnight operations. This role is integral for maintaining the accuracy of daily financial transactions, ensuring excellent guest communication, and supporting front desk operations during the night shift. The successful candidate will be responsible for posting room revenues, balancing cashier activities, performing food and beverage audits, and reconciling daily revenues and cash. This job requires a high level of attention to detail to accurately process and verify various reports and transactions. Communication skills are essential, as the shift involves interacting with guests to address concerns, provide information, and handle requests efficiently and professionally.

Working overnight, the employee will also play a critical role in upholding safety standards and adherence to company policies. Tasks include maintaining the cleanliness of work areas and hotel surroundings, conducting property walks, and assisting with guests' transportation needs. The candidate must demonstrate the ability to work independently, exercise good judgment, and thrive in a fast-paced environment while multitasking effectively. Experience with property management systems and software like Microsoft Office and Opera is highly preferred to facilitate smooth operations and data management.

Job Requirements

  • Must be available to work overnight shifts
  • Valid drivers license and ability to pass Six Flags Drivers test required
  • Must be able to work weekends, holidays, and other shifts as necessary
  • Must be able to sit, stand, or walk for extended periods of time
  • Ability to work independently and exercise good judgement to resolve situations
  • Must be able to perform tasks safely and adhere to company policy
  • Ability to share all possible hotel and safari knowledge as trained
  • Ability to handle multiple tasks in a fast paced environment

Job Qualifications

  • Must be at least 18 years old
  • Night audit experience preferred
  • Computer experience including proficiency in Microsoft Office
  • Knowledge of Opera software preferred
  • Possess organizational skills and attention to detail
  • Prior guest services experience required
  • Must have a friendly, enthusiastic, and service-oriented attitude
