GrillSmith is currently seeking skilled and dedicated Saute Cooks to join their dynamic kitchen team. The Saute Cook will work closely with the Executive Chef and Sous Chef, assisting with daily culinary tasks, preparing ingredients, and ensuring that all food is cooked to exact specifications. The successful candidate will play a key role in contributing to GrillSmith's customer satisfaction goals by maintaining efficient workflow and delivering dishes that meet the restaurant's culinary standards.
As a Saute Cook at GrillSmith, you will be responsible for setting up and stocking your station with all necessary supplies, preparing food items such as cutting vegetables, butchering meat, and preparing sauces, cooking menu items in cooperation with other kitchen staff, and following the guidance and instructions of the Executive and Sous Chef. You will also be expected to maintain cleanliness and organization of your station, properly handle leftover food, stock inventory as needed, and ensure that food is delivered timely, simultaneously, and with a high level of quality.

Job Requirements
- High school diploma or equivalent
- Previous experience in a kitchen or similar culinary role
- Knowledge of food safety and sanitation regulations
- Ability to stand for long periods and work in a fast-paced environment
- Availability to work flexible hours including evenings, weekends, and holidays
- Ability to follow instructions accurately
- Positive attitude and strong work ethic
Job Qualifications
- Previous experience as a saute cook or similar role
- Knowledge of food safety and sanitation standards
- Ability to work in a fast-paced kitchen environment

Job Duties
- Set up and stocking stations with all necessary supplies
- Prepare food for service such as chopping vegetables, butchering meat, or preparing sauces
- Cook menu items in cooperation with the rest of the kitchen staff
- Follow Executive and or Sous Chef's instructions
- Clean up station and properly handle any leftover food
- Stock inventory appropriately
- Ensure that food comes out timely, simultaneously, and is of high quality
- Comply with nutrition and sanitation regulations and safety standards
- Maintain a positive attitude and convey a professional demeanor with coworkers and customers
