Job Description

Established in 2017, Prime Hospitality Group began with five Ruth's Chris Steak House restaurants and has quickly grown to become the largest franchise group of this iconic global brand, now operating twelve locations. Over time, Prime Hospitality Group has expanded beyond just steakhouse dining to include other food and beverage concepts as well as ventures into the hotel hospitality sector. This expansive portfolio creates a dynamic and thriving collection of service-oriented brands committed to providing exceptional experiences to guests and rewarding careers to team members.

At Prime Hospitality Group, the focus goes beyond simply operating restaurants and hotels; it is about fostering a vibrant culture where employees are empowered to achieve their personal and professional goals. This starts with hiring dedicated individuals who share a passion for hospitality, teamwork, and excellence. The organization is committed to guiding its team members with strong core values and a shared vision for providing unparalleled hospitality and memorable guest experiences.

One cornerstone of the group is the Ruth's Chris Steak House brand, a beloved institution with over 50 years of history, renowned worldwide for its signature sizzling steaks and impeccable service. Being part of this brand means upholding a legacy of quality and culinary excellence. The company’s mission is clear: to deliver the best steakhouse experience, period. Whether guests come for an intimate dinner for two or a large business gathering, every detail is handled with passion and precision to ensure an extraordinary dining experience.

The role of Side Cook at Ruth's Chris Steak House under Prime Hospitality Group is essential to upholding these values. This full-time position involves preparing and cooking all potatoes, vegetables, and hot appetizer items in the kitchen under the direction of the Executive Chef or Manager-on-Duty. Attention to detail, timing, and adherence to the restaurant’s high standards of quality and presentation are crucial in this role. The Side Cook plays a significant part in ensuring that each plate served meets the exacting specifications set by the restaurant, contributing to the overall guest satisfaction and brand reputation.

The position demands a critical focus on sanitation, cleanliness, and food safety, alongside a professional demeanor and dedication to the company’s core value known as "The Sizzle." This concept embodies passion, energy, and the spirit of hospitality that must be evident in every interaction, whether with guests, fellow team members, or vendors. Working collaboratively with the kitchen team, the Side Cook also supports station setup, inventory checks, stock replenishment, and closing duties. It is a role that requires stamina and physical endurance, as it includes the ability to lift heavy items, stand for prolonged periods, and work in various temperature conditions.

Prime Hospitality Group fosters a culture of continuous learning and positive team engagement. The ideal candidate will be eager to grow within the hospitality industry, motivated to maintain the highest operational standards, and demonstrate a commitment to inclusive excellence and safety. This role embodies the group’s dedication to employee development and exceptional guest service, making it an exciting opportunity for those seeking a fulfilling career in a prestigious hospitality group.
