Job Requirements

  • high school diploma or g.e.d.
  • at least one year of kitchen experience
  • ability to work weekends, nights, and holidays
  • authorized to work in the united states
  • strong attention to detail
  • effective communication skills
  • physical ability to lift up to 50 pounds and stand for extended periods
  • flexibility to work in fast-paced environments
  • commitment to maintaining hygiene and safety standards

Job Qualifications

  • ability to follow detailed recipes and manage multiple tasks in a fast-paced environment

Job Duties

  • arrive at work punctually and dressed in a clean, approved uniform
  • maintain professionalism and hygiene at all times
  • ensure all food products are seasoned, cooked, and presented to meet ruth's chris quality standards
  • complete station closing duties and assist in maintaining kitchen cleanliness
  • cultivate a supportive and communicative team environment
  • verify stock levels of all ingredients and supplies before shifts
  • prepare food following established recipe standards
  • adhere to all company standards and serve as a role model to team members
  • set up and maintain work station efficiently
  • ensure all dishes are prepared to company specifications
  • prioritize safety in the kitchen and report hazards immediately
