Job Description

Prime Hospitality Group, established in 2017, is a prominent leader in the hospitality industry, initially launching with five Ruth's Chris Steak House locations. Since then, they have expanded significantly, now operating twelve locations of this renowned global brand, making Prime Hospitality Group the largest franchise entity for Ruth's Chris Steak House. The company has broadened its portfolio by incorporating diverse food and beverage concepts as well as venturing into the hotel hospitality sector, thus forming a dynamic collection of service-oriented brands dedicated to excellence and guest satisfaction.

Prime Hospitality Group prides itself on its commitment to its Team Members' growth and success, fostering an environment that encourages empowerment and continuous development. This dedication is reflected in the unparalleled hospitality and exceptional experiences they deliver to their guests consistently. As a major player within the hospitality space, the group exemplifies a culture deeply rooted in service quality, operational excellence, and a passion for the culinary arts.

The role of a Sauté Chef at Ruth's Chris Steak House, under the umbrella of Prime Hospitality Group, is a vital culinary position focused on maintaining the restaurant’s revered reputation that spans over five decades. Ruth's Chris Steak House is celebrated for its signature Sizzle and steadfast commitment to offering the ultimate steakhouse experience. The Sauté Chef will work closely with the Executive Chef or Manager-on-Duty to expertly prepare essential side dishes such as potatoes and vegetables, and hot appetizers, ensuring adherence to precise cooking methods and timing protocols. This role is not only about cooking but also about upholding the highest standards of quality, presentation, and service that align with the brand’s iconic status.

The position requires punctuality, professionalism, and hygiene, as these attributes directly contribute to the excellence expected within the kitchen and guest interactions. A successful Sauté Chef will exhibit a passion for hospitality, nurturing a collaborative team environment and consistently producing dishes that meet or exceed Ruth's Chris quality standards. Responsibilities include monitoring stock levels, maintaining a clean and efficient workstation, and ensuring safety protocols are rigorously followed in a high-pressure, fast-paced kitchen setting.

Physically, the job demands the ability to lift up to 50 pounds, stand, and move efficiently for extended hours amid a bustling kitchen environment characterized by extreme temperatures and significant noise levels. The role also demands strong attention to detail, resilience, adaptability to work flexible schedules including weekends, nights, and holidays, and excellent communication skills to thrive within a diverse team.

Prime Hospitality Group values inclusivity and equal opportunity, fostering a workplace free from discrimination and committed to diversity. They recognize the importance of hiring based solely on merit, qualifications, and operational needs, ensuring a fair and respectful work environment for all Team Members.

This career opportunity offers the chance to be a part of a renowned franchise with a global presence, to grow professionally within the culinary world, and to contribute to delivering extraordinary dining experiences that guests cherish. Joining Prime Hospitality Group as a Sauté Chef means embracing a role where culinary skill meets passion, teamwork, and a dedication to hospitality excellence.
