Known for its commitment to excellence, Saratoga Retirement Community focuses not only on resident well-being but also on fostering a positive and dynamic work environment for its staff. The community stands out for combining compassionate resident care with exceptional professional standards, making it a desirable place to both live and work.
Joining the team at Saratoga Retirement Community as a Housekeeper means becoming an integral part of a vibrant community where your daily efforts directly impact the quality of life for residents. Housekeepers play a critical role in maintaining a clean and comfortable living space that helps promote a sense of safety, dignity, and homeliness among its residents. The role offers a unique opportunity to engage with residents regularly, building meaningful relationships while ensuring common areas remain spotless and inviting. Furthermore, employees at Saratoga benefit from a supportive employment culture that values each individual's contribution and encourages growth.
The Housekeeper position at Saratoga Retirement Community operates on a flexible schedule with two possible shifts available: Wednesday through Sunday or Friday through Tuesday, from 6 AM to 2:30 PM. Compensation for this role is $21 per hour, depending on experience, reflecting the community’s commitment to rewarding its employees fairly. This position comes with an array of comprehensive benefits, including medical, dental, and vision insurance plans with premium subsidies, life and AD and D insurance, paid time off, and a 403(b) retirement plan with employer match, as well as additional perks like employee deli access, scholarships, and subsidized parking or public transportation assistance.
Training and development are fundamental to success in this role, and while prior housekeeping or custodial experience is preferred, Saratoga Retirement Community provides the necessary training to help new hires thrive. The community cultivates an environment where professional development is encouraged, and employees are supported both personally and professionally. Housekeepers are expected to deliver outstanding customer service and maintain the appearance and cleanliness of resident accommodations and shared spaces. Occasional assistance with laundry services and equipment maintenance is also part of the job responsibilities.

Employees not only work together but develop lasting connections with residents, fostering a fulfilling work environment. The community’s commitment to resident appreciation is evident through special bonuses, reinforcing the importance of service and dedication.
