Job Description

Still Austin Whiskey Co is a pioneering craft distillery located in Austin, Texas, notable for being the first true grain-to-glass distillery to open in Austin since the end of Prohibition. It stands out as one of the fastest-growing craft whiskey brands in the United States, deeply rooted in principles of creativity, craftsmanship, and community involvement. The company has expanded its presence through Still Austin Quarter (SAQ), a multi-faceted hospitality destination that includes a restaurant, lounge, café, welcome center, and event spaces. Hospitality is at the core of Still Austin’s brand philosophy, with an emphasis on delivering quality, authentic, and caring guest experiences at every touchpoint.

The Bartender position at Still Austin Whiskey Co plays a crucial role in enhancing the guest experience by delivering elevated and genuine hospitality. This role demands a blend of technical bartending skills, in-depth product knowledge, and warm guest engagement, aimed at creating memorable moments for every guest during every shift. Bartenders are regarded as brand ambassadors who promote loyalty by offering exceptional service, practicing responsible alcohol service, and maintaining close attention to detail. This role requires adaptability to pivot between high-volume bartending and craft cocktail service fluidly, maintaining professionalism and composure.

Successful candidates will be those who deliver a welcoming and personalized hospitality experience, serve as storytellers and recommenders of the brand’s products, and consistently prepare beverages in compliance with the established SAQ standards. The Bartender will uphold high standards of cleanliness and organization, maintain effective communication with teammates, management, and guests, and operate with integrity and accountability even during the busiest service times.
