Job Description

Conagra Brands is a leading food company with a rich heritage of crafting high-quality and innovative food products enjoyed by millions. Known for iconic brands such as Birds Eye, Slim Jim, and Reddi-Wip, Conagra is committed to delivering exceptional taste and quality while embracing sustainability and inclusivity across all its operations. With over 18,000 employees spread across more than 40 locations, the company fosters a dynamic environment focused on growth, collaboration, and innovation. At Conagra, employees are empowered to reach their potential, make a significant impact, and advance their careers, all while being supported by a culture that values diversity and inclusiveness. The company also emphasizes corporate responsibility, through initiatives that benefit their teams, communities, and the environment, making it a respected name in the food manufacturing industry.

This role is an integral part of Conagra Brands’ production operations located at the Kent, Washington facility. The position is full-time with a schedule from Wednesday through Sunday, featuring a shift from 1:30 PM to 10:00 PM. The hourly wage is $23.00 per hour, with an additional $1.50 shift differential. Reporting directly to the Production Team Leader, this role supports packaging operations during production weeks and performs essential sanitation activities on weekends to maintain a safe, clean, and food-compliant manufacturing environment. The scope of this position requires close collaboration with teams in production, quality, and maintenance to ensure operational efficiency and compliance with food safety standards.

In this position, the individual will be responsible for thoroughly cleaning and sanitizing processing and packaging equipment, including freezers during defrost mode, utilizing approved chemicals, foamers, nozzles, and high-pressure water hoses. Operating scissor lifts or stair rollers to access elevated and hard-to-reach surfaces is a necessary aspect of the job. Janitorial responsibilities such as cleaning exterior areas, restrooms, and breakrooms also form part of the weekend sanitation duties. Accurate documentation of all sanitation activities is critical, as well as reporting any sanitation or equipment issues to the Sanitation Team Leader. In addition to sanitation tasks, the role includes supporting packaging operations during active production runs. This involves monitoring automated and manual packaging lines, performing line checks, rotating through various packaging and production positions, packaging finished products to meet quality standards, and utilizing pallet jacks to move materials and finished goods. The environment demands adherence to Good Manufacturing Practices (GMP) and strict food safety requirements.

This position requires someone who is comfortable working with approved sanitation chemicals following proper training, committed to wearing all required personal protective equipment, and willing to follow prescribed safety protocols, including chemical handling and lockout-tagout procedures. The ability to work effectively within a team-based manufacturing environment and adapt quickly to changing production needs is essential. Physically, the role necessitates standing and walking for extended periods, climbing stairs or ladders, and performing repetitive tasks. Frequent lifting, pushing, or carrying of materials is expected. The manufacturing environment can be noisy, and temperature conditions may vary, requiring readiness to work under these conditions. The anticipated close date for applications is May 27, 2026.
