Key duties include performing daily and weekly cleaning and maintenance tasks, assisting with minor repairs, participating in ordering maintenance supplies, and responding promptly to cleaning emergencies. This role may also involve upkeep of store landscaping and parking areas, contributing to the store’s inviting and professional atmosphere. \n\nIdeal candidates for this role demonstrate a passion for cleanliness, have strong communication skills, and are willing to collaborate with various teams. They should have the ability to manage time effectively, work under pressure in a fast-paced environment, and maintain a positive attitude when handling tasks that might be unpleasant. While no prior retail experience is required, candidates must be physically able to perform duties such as lifting up to 50 pounds, standing or walking for extended periods, and operating equipment like electric pallet jacks and box cutters. Additionally, flexibility to work nights, weekends, and holidays is important. The wage for this position ranges from $15.00 to $24.40 hourly, depending on experience. Job Requirements

  • Must be able to lift 50 pounds
  • standing or walking for 6-8 hours in an 8-hour work day
  • hand use including single grasping, fine manipulation, pushing and pulling
  • work requires bending, twisting, squatting, and reaching motions
  • exposure to FDA approved cleaning chemicals
  • exposure to temperatures around 90 degrees Fahrenheit
  • ability to work in wet and cold environments
  • ability to work a flexible schedule including nights, weekends, and holidays as needed
  • ability to use tools and equipment such as box cutters, electric pallet jacks, and other heavy machinery

  • performs continual cleaning of all store departments
  • arrives to work station on time, appropriately groomed, dressed and ready to work
  • immediately reports safety hazards and violations
  • performs other duties as assigned by store, regional, or national leadership
