This role at Whole Foods Market involves maintenance services critical to supporting a clean, safe, and welcoming shopping environment. As a Maintenance Team Member, you will play a vital role in ensuring the general cleanliness and safety of the store including the sales floor, seating areas, restrooms, and back offices. Your duties will include performing routine cleaning and minor repairs, assisting with landscaping and parking lot upkeep, and responding quickly to cleaning emergencies. Working as part of a team under established Standard Operating Procedures, you will assist other departments with cleaning projects, order necessary supplies, and uphold health and food safety regulations. The role demands a strong work ethic, positive attitude, and a genuine passion for cleanliness, as well as excellent communication skills to coordinate with customers, team members, and vendors. The work environment can be physically demanding, requiring lifting, standing, walking long periods, exposure to varying temperatures, and the use of chemicals and equipment safely. Whole Foods Market offers a wage range of $16.00 to $25.40 per hour depending on experience.
