The role of Sanitation Team Lead at Bonduelle Americas is a critical leadership position within the Sanitation department, reporting directly to the Sanitation Manager and located in Irwindale. This full-time role focuses on ensuring rigorous sanitation practices that uphold strict food safety, quality, and regulatory standards. The Sanitation Team Lead will oversee the sanitation associates, providing mentorship, guidance, and support to maintain operational excellence and compliance with food safety laws such as GMP, HACCP, FDA, and USDA regulations.

This leadership position involves managing daily sanitation operations for production areas, equipment, and facilities, conducting regular inspections, and addressing corrective actions to maintain a clean and safe environment. The role demands collaboration with various departments to optimize processes, reduce waste, and improve sanitation efficiency. The Sanitation Team Lead will also be responsible for maintaining accurate reporting, tracking sanitation metrics, and ensuring safe work practices, including adherence to lockout/tagout and chemical safety protocols.

Given the physical nature of the job, candidates must be prepared to work in cold environments and handle tasks involving ladders, catwalks, and exposure to mechanical equipment. Safety is paramount; the team lead will champion the use of personal protective equipment (PPE) and cultivate a safety-conscious workplace culture.
